We're making an important update to how you pay for your vehicles.
From 7th January 2026, debit cards will no longer be accepted for vehicle payments.
Below is an overview of what's changing, what's not, and how you can continue to pay smoothly.
What’s Changing
-
Debit cards are being removed as a payment option for vehicle purchases.
-
This applies to all UK vehicle payments made from 7th January 2026.
What’s Not Changing
-
Membership fee payments remain the same.
-
Credit cards are still accepted for vehicle payments (subject to minimum spend and applicable terms).
-
All other payment methods currently supported remain available.
Payment Options You Can Continue to Use
You can still pay for your vehicles using:
-
Cash Deposit (where applicable)
When using Bank Transfer, always enter the Member Number, Lot number, or Generated Reference Number shown on your Checkout page. This ensures your payment is allocated to your vehicle as quickly as possible.
Bank Transfer is also the quickest and most secure way to get your payment cleared and your vehicle released without delay.
Why This Change Is Being Made
Removing the use of debit card payments helps reduce processing delays, card-related declines, and payment issues that slow down your release and collection process.
What You Need to Do
-
When paying for a vehicle, choose one of the available methods listed above.
-
If using Bank Pay or Bank Transfer, follow the step-by-step instructions shown during Checkout.
-
No action is required for Membership fee payments - these remain unchanged.
