Cash Deposit

While you cannot pay with cash at any of our Operation Centres, you can pay a cash deposit into a bank. The following limits apply to cash deposits:

• The maximum cash sum the Company will accept on any one business day from a member

is £8,000.

• The £8,000 limit applies to any one Lot in total. Cash cannot be paid over multiple days to

add up to more than £8,000 in total against any one Lot.

• Under no circumstances will cash deposits over £8,000 be accepted.

• The £8,000 limit applies to multiple Lots on any one day

• The £8,000 limit applies to Copart as a whole, not any individual Operation Centre.

You will need cash deposit slips to make a payment into the bank.

To obtain cash deposit slips, you will need to contact Member Services by telephone on 01234 765 459 - Option 4 or by email at member.services@copart.co.uk.

Slips will be posted out to your account address. Please allow 2 weeks to receive these. 

Category B Vehicle Payments

Copart UK Limited and Copart Vehicle Auctions Ireland Limited do not accept the following methods of payment for category B vehicles or any charges associated with a category B vehicle:

• Cash paid at a bank into a Copart bank account; and
• Single non-reloadable pre-paid debit cards and re-loadable debit cards which are anonymous in nature.
• Any cash paid into a Copart bank account over the counter, will not be allocated towards a Category B vehicle or any charges associated with a Category B vehicle.  Any such payments received by Copart will be returned. Where applicable, storage and late payment charges will continue to accrue on Category B vehicles until such time as full payment is received by Copart via one or any combination of the accepted payment methods.
