Our Mission, Vision and Values are the foundation of who we are, and what we do. As a business, we strive to provide our customers with an unmatched experience, and are continually seeking ways to improve our services.

This is underpinned by the values demonstrated by every one of our colleagues, every day. We are very proud of our ‘family’ culture, and the dedication of our colleagues in providing the highest level of support to both customers and fellow colleagues.

Reward and Recognition


RACE Awards
It’s very important to us at Copart that we reward and recognise our colleagues for their hard work. We celebrate colleagues who have demonstrated our values, exceeded the normal expectations of their job role, or set a good example to others with our Quarterly RACE Awards (Really Appreciate Copart Employees).

If you are one of our quarterly winners, you’ll also be invited to an Annual Recognition Lunch, to enjoy a celebration meal as well as being in with the chance of winning one of six Regional Annual RACE Awards.

Annual Family Fun Day


Our Annual Fun Day is Copart's way of saying thank you to all colleagues for their hard work throughout the year, and to their families in recognition of their support.

We appreciate how expensive a family day out can be, so we’re delighted to provide this annual event completely free of charge to all colleagues and their families.

Over the past ten years we have held events at Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Park, Thorpe Park, Woburn Safari Park and West Midlands Safari Park.

As part of the day out, we provide transport to and from the venue if required, and food and refreshments throughout the day, all at no additional cost. It also acts as a great opportunity for colleagues from all across the country to meet other teams, and of course, to have some fun!

Commitment to our Colleagues


Colleague Survey
We want to make Copart a company that our colleagues are proud to work for. Our Annual Colleague Survey, gives everyone the chance to express their views and opinions about working for Copart. These opinions really matter to us, as they allow us to continually improve and help us to identify areas we may need to focus on in the future.

In 2018, we received some of the highest scores we have ever seen, and were delighted with how highly colleagues rated Copart’s culture, benefits, training and development.

 

Keeping Colleagues Informed


With over 1,000 colleagues across 16 locations, we think it’s important that we provide all our communications in a relevant and timely manner; so our Connection Magazine, which is written for and about colleagues, is published regularly throughout the year.

The magazine shares photos and information about different areas of our business, including company events and initiatives; and celebrates colleague achievements, as well as providing updates on important global news.

To keep colleagues continuously connected and engaged throughout the year, we also communicate important updates via internal e-newsletters, our company intranet and regular team meetings.

 

Charitable Giving


We’ve  established a culture that is committed to charitable giving, and across our facilities we support local initiatives as well as participating in national charitable events throughout the year, including the Macmillan Coffee Morning and Save the Children’s ‘Christmas Jumper Day’. 

We are a proud advocate of the registered charity, BEN, who provide health and wellbeing support to those working in the automotive industry. We have adopted BEN as our ‘company charity’ and hold regular fundraising events across our UK facilities during the year. In 2018, a brave team of Copart colleagues took part in the Tough Mudder event and raised over £1,300 for BEN.
