Global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling, Copart UK, has successfully completed independent third-party verification of its greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with ISO 14064-3, covering Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
The verification, conducted by an independent assurance provider, confirmed a robust and accurate strategy for Copart UK’s carbon footprint data.
It reflects the organisation’s ongoing commitment to credible measurement, transparent disclosure, and high-quality environmental reporting in line with international best practice.
The independently verified emissions baseline will play a critical role in delivering Copart’s Plan-Net-Zero strategy, enabling the business to:
• Prioritise targeted emissions reduction initiatives
• Monitor and track decarbonisation progress over time
• Inform future operational, investment and supply chain decisions
• Respond confidently to evolving customer, insurer and regulatory ESG expectations
