At Copart, we have an obligation to both our Members and Sellers to process our vehicles quickly and efficiently, while also providing as much additional information about the vehicle as possible to help you in your buying decision.

Thanks to our newly revamped receiving process, we’re pleased to be able to provide more vehicle information and images than ever before!

So, what’s new?

During the new receiving process, one of our Copart teammates will be required to answer up to 25 additional questions about the vehicle using our state-of-the-art Receiving App.

These questions include whether the vehicle has spare wheels, a parcel shelf, Sat Nav, a tyre kit, a charging cable (if electric) as well as other information on vehicle damage.

These details will be listed in the Additional Information section of the Lot Detail page.

If the Copart teammate marks down that the vehicle has any of the aspects listed on the App, they will be required to take an image of that item before moving on. For additional damage, up to 5 additional images can be added.

These changes are part of our commitment to be as transparent as we possibly can about the vehicles we sell, so that you can confidently bid on your favourite vehicles at auction.

The changes are being rolled out now, and you can expect to see them at all locations in the following weeks.
