Copart is excited to auction this vintage MG A Roadster. Built in 1958, we consider this to be an ultimate classic British car for any car enthusiast. The MG A Roadster that we have going up for auction is still in its original colour (blue). It’s a sharp looking sports car and has navy leather interior which; complements the exterior colour of the car. This MGA has been restored and upgraded, and we’ve been told by the seller of the car that the restoration included;-
- Uprated brakes;
- New petrol tank and pump;
- New disc and brake calipers, and hubs;
- New Michelin tyres;
- New brake and clutch pipes;
- New water pump;
- New prop-shaft;
- New, specially made stainless steel exhaust system;
- New right-hand steering rack assembly;
- New wooden steering wheel;
- New side screens;
- New mohair hood and frame;
- New leather interior with deep pile carpets; and
- New electric fan and electronic ignition.
We think this restoration has made a fabulous looking car which depicts this marvellous era of English motoring.
